Toy Story 3 review

Here we are at my last review of the first three Toy Story films. I don’t think that I will review any of the specials that aired on TV. I’m writing this before I’ve seen the fourth Toy Story so I won’t know yet if the ending to this movie is completely undone or not. But it wouldn’t be the first time that it happened. I do think that the ending of this movie was partly to undo the ending of the second one. But let’s not do too much more of this introduction. Let’s get to this review.

We begin with a train being bombed and Mr. Potato Head getting money. Woody comes to fight him, but Mrs. Potato Head comes out and takes him off the track. Thankfully, he falls on his horse Bulls-eye and Jane is there with him. This leads to Mr. Potato Head blowing up the tracks in front of him which leads Woody to worry about the orphans on the train. Mr. Potato Head and his wife then escape in a car full of alien bandit helpers while Woody tries to stop the train.

At first, it seems like the train has gone off the tracks and everyone except Jane and Bulls-eye went off the tracks to their deaths. But Buzz Lightyear is able to use his anti-gravity device to save the day. The group of heroes continue their pursuit and Mr. Potato Head uses his dog with a built in force field. But Woody has a dinosaur that eats force field dogs.

All seems well for the heroes until the evil Dr. Pork Chop comes out and captures them all with monkeys while taking the rest to safety in a plane from up above. Is all hope lost for the heroes? This is revealed to be a game that Andy was playing with his toys when he was young. His mother then records the conclusion where a laser beam that Buzz deflects off of Woody’s badge is able to attack and destroy the villains. But a 50 foot baby winds up attacking next. More footage of Andy playing with his toys as a kid is shown until the friendly music suddenly stops.

Flashforward to later, Andy is now 17 and his toys still want to be played with and do a phone call that is able to get Andy to look through the toys, but he doesn’t play with any of them. The toys realize that he is probably never playing with them again. There are so few of them left still and some such as Bo Peep has been given away already.

Andy’s mother wants him prepared for college and decides that anything that is not put in the attic or packed for college will be thrown out. That’s very mean. She can’t just leave his room alone? My mother hasn’t messed much with the rooms of my brother or sister once they moved out. Molly seems to have outgrown her toys too early and wants to give some of them like her Barbie doll away.

Andy gets all of his remaining toys outside of Woody in a trash bag in order to put it in the attic. But he is distracted by something Molly wants and leaves the bag alone. This confuses his mother who then takes it to the curb on trash day. Woody notices that they were not originally meant for the trash. While they are at the curb, Rex’s tail is used to escape from the trash bag somehow. Woody notices that they are not in the trash and escaped to the car of Andy’s mom. (Does she have a name?)

While Woody tries to tell them that Andy wasn’t trying to throw them out when he catches up with them, they all decide to go to Sunnyside daycare. While they are nervous about being a new group of arrivals there, they appear to be welcome there by Lottso. He shows them around and introduces them to other toys such as Big Baby and Ken, whom Barbie gets immediately infatuated with. She goes off to his dream house to live. A toy phone tries to get Woody’s attention when the tour is being done and they are taken from the butterfly room to the caterpillar room. Woody wants to leave the rest of the group and head back to where Andy is as the rest of them all want to stay here. Only Bulls-eye wanted to travel with Woody, but Woody doesn’t allow it.

He hitches a ride underneath a janitor’s supply of cleaning material and climbs out an open window. He gets to the roof of the building and takes a kite to the roof where he uses it to fly somewhere else. Due to a sudden wind change, he winds up in a tree and is taken by a girl named Bonnie when she notices him there in it. He does lose his hat sometime during this.

Back in the caterpillar room, there is a rough play that goes on with all of the toys there. Buzz then does briefly see toys being treated better in the butterfly room. Meanwhile, back in Bonnie’s room, Woody meets her other toys and has fun with them while still wanting to get out of there.

When we return to Sunnyside, Buzz is able to find toys hiding in a vending machine. They are playing a gambling game of sorts and talk to each other while Buzz eavesdrops on them. He is then caught by them and taken somewhere else.

Late at night, Woody wants to find a map to get back to Andy’s house and the rest of the toys want to help him with it. Meanwhile, Buzz talks to Lottso about his group being taken to the butterfly room. But his offer is refused and a bookworm gives Lottso the manual on Buzz. They reset Buzz to demo mode. While the rest of Andy’s old toys try to reunite with Buzz, Mrs. Potato Head notices from her other eye that is still back in Andy’s room that he is looking for them and they are missing.

The toys are then put into containers and they notice that something weird is going on with Buzz, who is helping Lottso. He shows them the hat that Woody has that was left behind. Mr. Potato Head is put in the sandbox for the night. Barbie sees what’s going on and decides to abandon Ken and stay where the rest of her toy friends.

While Woody notices that the way back to Andy is close to where he is, he also learns that Sunnyside is a dangerous place from Chuckles, a clown that talks about his past life with Lottso and Big Baby. They had the same owner named Daisy. They were once accidently left behind on a trip and once they returned to where she was, they found out that she had replaced Lottso. He is outraged by this and they wind up going to where Sunnyside is which he soon takes over. Chuckles was able to make it out with Bonnie. Woody wonders what he should do in order to help his friends.

It is the next morning then at Sunnyside where the toys await the next day. Mr. Potato Head is brought back into the room with the rest of them. Bonnie returns and Woody snuck back into the place in her backpack. He notices yet another rough play going on with his friends. The phone from earlier shows up and gives Woody some advice on how to get out. He has to get rid of the monkey that oversees the security system.

Woody reunites with the rest of his friends and gets his hat back. He talks about a plan on how to escape from this place. Mr. Potato Head is taken back to the box when people catch him trying to escape. It is during this time that Barbie convinces Ken to take her back to his dream house. Woody and Slinky Dog are then able to subdue the monkey in the meantime to take out the head of security and then get the keys to all the locked rooms. Meanwhile, Ken shows off his clothes for Barbie.

After taking control of some of the situation, a fake fight between Ham and Rex is staged in order to get Buzz to be captured under a container where he fruitlessly uses his “powers” to try to escape. The other toys give a tortilla that the parts of Mr. Potato Head uses to get around until a bird comes after him. We then see Barbie capture Ken and destroy come clothes of his until he confesses to what happened to Buzz. But in their efforts to fix him, they turn him into a Spanish version of himself somehow.

Mr. Potato Head uses a cucumber as his new body until he reunites with his real one. Spanish Buzz is really into Jane when he notices her. The rest of the toys get to where the drop off of toys is to where the garbage is waiting. But Lottso is there waiting for him. The phone ratted them out. Ken tries to stand up to Lottso and end his reign of terror. But after some tense situations, Big Baby takes him out. But this gets the rest of the toys taken into the trash.

After a bit of an injury, Buzz is somehow returned to his normal state. This is when the toys are taken to the dump in question. The alien toys get distracted by the claw and we lose touch with them for a while. The rest of the toys are taken by a magnet up with where Slinky Dog was taken to in order to avoid a fate of being crushed to death. Woody and Buzz even help save Lottso when he asks for their help. He then goes after a button to avoid them going to a fiery death. But he doesn’t push the button and leads them to their fate of doom. It looks like the toys are all about to die and even join hands together ready to accept their fate. But a claw comes out and saves them. It is the aliens from earlier who were able to get them and save their lives, returning the favor at last from the previous movie. The toys are all okay.

The fate of Lottso is revealed when a trucker takes him and puts him on the front of the garbage truck. The rest of the toys want to find where Andy is and they go back to his room. They clean themselves off and Mrs. Potato Head gets reunited with her other eye. The toys want to spend time in the attic from now on. Andy’s room is seen for the last time and in its near empty state. Woody writes a note and gets Andy to take his toys to where Bonnie lives. He gives his toys away to her and goes through them.

He goes through Jessie and Bulls-eye, giving them their back stories. He also goes through all of the toys that he has as well. They all mean a lot to Bonnie. It turns out that Woody is among these toys as well and Andy is a bit reluctant to give him up. But Andy talks about his loyalty before playing with his toys for one last time. He leaves them all behind in a very sentimental moment.

Before the movie is over, there’s still more to it. More toys are donated to Sunnyside. It seems like the toys there are now doing better now that Lottso reign of terror has been brought to an end. They are all now getting along together now. They exchange letters between themselves and Bonnie’s house. All of Andy’s old toys are getting along with Bonnie’s current toys. Buzz and Jane dance to a Spanish version of You Got a Friend in Me. Thus the movie ends officially.

This is one of my favorite movies and ever since I saw it, I realized that I had to give away my old toys to younger people who would still enjoy them. I have done some of that thus far, but still have lingered with more of the more precious toys of mine. We’ll see what all I can still get rid of and I’m not sure what all I still have available to give away. I might have to go into more of what I wasn’t wanting to get rid of in the future. We’ll see what happens.

I don’t know what else there is to say for this post. I think that this movie is the best of at least the first of the three Toy Story movies so we’ll see if the fourth one can work well or not. I’m sorry if it seems like these random posts came at strange times. But at least you have all three reviews now that the fourth movie in this franchise is out as well. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Cast Update 1-4-2020

Since I don’t tell you about much in these introductions in these blogs, I might as well say that those of you who have seen this blog on my facebook page might be wondering why you have not seen it on their much recently. The reasons are varied, but I’m planning to stop putting it on my page for a while. If you want me to change my ways, let me know and I will start putting this blog back on the facebook page as usual. I might post other blogs to my page instead if I’m not sharing this one anymore. We’ll see what I’ll do. Also notice that a person mentioned in this blog is now mentioned in another blog so I replaced that person with another one in this blog.

Patricia Arquette: The main star of CSI: Cyber has future projects mentioned on imdb right now. She is doing a project called The Act. She does a lot, or at least did in the past. We’ll see what all she will do in the future regarding shows she does.

The Act: This has a release date of March 20, 2019, meaning that is it out now. In it, a girl has a toxic relationship with her mother. The girl is trying to escape from it. This will be a Hulu TV series so I’m probably not going to be able to watch it at any point. I can only hope otherwise. There is now a trailer to this show.

Thoughts on trailer: This looks like quite a terrible story. Making matters worse, I think that it is based on events that actually happened. Patricia is playing the villain of the story by the looks of it. She seems to be making her child suffer in various ways. This looks like it is kind of disturbing and I might be okay not watching it as it looks too gruesome in many different ways. This is already available now for anyone who wants to watch it.

Peter MacNicol: I can’t find much ever, if anything, for this actor. I hope that I can avoid saying things about him in a paragraph that could easily wind up outdated forever as I’ve been known for doing. So I came up with this one until the next project he’s in.

James Van Der Beek: I see a project for him called Vampirina. I see him in a new TV show called Pose that I’ll get to. I won’t know for sure about how long some of his shows will last so I hope that I’m not always talking about them when or if they aren’t on anymore. I don’t know what else to say about that. He’s also doing something called Belvedere: Destiny, which might be a video game of some sort, but I can’t find out more information about it right now. He’s also going to be something called Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.

Vampirina: This is a show about a young vampire girl who has to adjust after a move. It is an animated Disney Junior show as vampires are a thing that kids should be educated about in some way. It is out now. I was able to see an episode of this so enjoy a review:

Review: Status- Possibly still on the Disney channel. Why I’ve seen it- I watched it so I could review it for this blog. Noteworthiness- This is based on a book series. Description- A vampire girl and her family move from Transylvania to the human world and we see a bunch of adventures with her new friends and family. Notable People- James Van Der Beek plays the father of the main character. Pros- The show largely works and is different enough to make it seem unlike most of the other kid’s shows. Cons- Not all of it makes sense or seems like it needs to be there. There should be more education stuff in there than there is. Note to Parents- With this intentionally targeted for kids, you do not have to worry about much in it. Whether or not you think there could be issues with the theme of this involving vampires might be the only problem I can think of about why someone would not want kids seeing this. Recommendation- I’d put this at a toss-up. There is not much wrong with it as long as you care about shows for kids. My Viewing Habits- I only saw this once and might not see it again. Prediction- I don’t care enough to put something in here. Reception: good. Grade: B-.

Pose: This is airing now on FX yet could be ending its first season already. I don’t know for sure what might be happening. The plot for it mentioned on imdb sounds really confusing and I believe that it relates to transgender issues in some way. It actually has a trailer now. I doubt that I will ever be able to watch it. I don’t think that I’d want to anyways.

Thoughts on trailer: This doesn’t seem any good or interesting to me. It just seems like it is another lame attempt to get people interested in the fashion industry. I don’t even know for sure if the transgender stuff that might be in here is in here. But I don’t care about the fashion industry and this looks lame and vague. Why do people care who wears what when?

Belvedere: Destiny: This is set for release sometime in 2018. I don’t have a plot for it yet and it only mentions one person in the cast right now. I don’t think that I know the format that this will be. It says video on imdb, making me think it will be a video game. But I do not yet know what this is until more details are revealed. It could be out now, but I don’t know yet for sure.

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot: This will be on DVD on January 21, 2020. The characters in this movie seek to prevent another reboot from being made. I’ll have to watch more of the films of these characters in the future, possibly. There is a trailer of this now.

Trailer link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cg74gGSzeYY (note that this is a red band trailer)

Thoughts on trailer: This looks like a dumb comedy, but I do like some of those at times. We’ll see if I’ll like this enough to see other movies in the universe or not. I know that based on the CinemaSins video Everything Wrong with Star Wars: A New Hope, I’m not sure that I can like Kevin Smith’s style of humor or not. I still might watch the other movies even if I don’t like this. Maybe this will be like other movies like it. I won’t regret seeing it or ever want to watch it again. Maybe this will work or maybe not. Also, isn’t the idea of one of these characters having a child very similar to what happened in the newest Dumb and Dumber movie that came out a while back?

I will not be able to see the movie just yet. I haven’t even seen promos for it, which is weird. I probably won’t see it in theaters so plan to wait to see it until it is out on DVD, if I’m able to see it then. Until then, keep an eye out on this blog.

Shad Moss: After all this time I’ve been doing updates, I was beginning to be concerned that I’d never find something for him. Well, he finally has a project in the works. It is called Superstition: The Rule of 3’s. I would review his music videos, but don’t see a point to that right now.

Superstition: The Rule of 3’s: This is a thriller movie on the belief that death occurs in threes. I have no idea what role Shad will end up playing in the film. The status of the film is listed as filming. It has no release date or trailer just yet.

Charley Koontz: A new thing that I see him mentioned in is Hollywood Fringe, a movie of some sort. He will also be in something called Eat Your Heart Out. Another thing mentioned that he’s doing is called Casting the Net. That will be a TV show.

Hollywood Fringe: This movie doesn’t have a release date or trailer yet. The plot is about married actors putting on a play about their own lack of success in Hollywood. The plot sounds like it could use some work on. But I guess that I hope to see whatever becomes of it, if anything. I just know I don’t like having the same thing in here with no real update.

Eat Your Heart Out: This has an unknown date of release at the moment. The plot will be a bit complicated as someone literally gave his heart away and needs to get it back in order to marry someone else. Seems strange, but I might like it. Still, it is a short and I don’t know how I’d be able to watch any of those. There’s a trailer for it now:

Thoughts on trailer: This looks kind of weird, but I guess that it works as an idea of what they can do with a film like this. I don’t know why a heart would be in pieces and can only hope that the cat didn’t eat any of them. I guess I’ll see if I can see what the short film is like if I’m able to see it.

Casting the Net: This is set to be released sometime in 2020. I have no idea what network this will air on. I also don’t know what the plot is. It could relate to fishing, but I won’t know until more details about it are revealed. This could start airing on 1-1-2020.

Hayley Kiyoko: With her not having much to talk about for a while, I might as well just talk about her music videos. I won’t know how old each of these are, but I will say one in every new post until she can find some long term project to mention instead or I stop trying to find new ones to share.

Ted Danson: He is appearing on The Good Place on NBC. Surely his time off of TV means that he could be doing movies in the meantime, but we’ll see if that happens soon or not. It looks like he is doing more now that I can finally see. He is appearing in the upcoming season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. It looks like he might also be in a show called Untitled Ted Danson Project. He could just call it The Ted Project a la Mindy Kaling.

The Good Place: This is an NBC comedy. It is an afterlife based comedy. Ted appears on it in a supporting role. He plays a person who designed the section of the good place for the main characters, although it is possible he made mistakes. Its final season is airing now.

Review: The Good Place: Status- Currently on NBC at 9/8 Central on Thursdays. Why I’ve seen it- In order to review this for this blog, I watched it. Description- A comedy, a woman finds out that she is dead, but in the good place. The main problem: she’s not supposed to be there. Notable People- Ted Danson, who was in many shows in the past, among them Cheers, CSI, and CSI: Cyber, is a character on the show. Kristen Bell, who did many movies and Veronica Mars, is the main character. Pros- The show is different and interesting. It tries to keep religion out of it so as to not offend anyone. Cons- The idea of things going wrong with the good place in death is a bit hard to believe. It lacks a certain amount of charm that you would want it to have. It doesn’t seem as funny as it could be. Note to Parents- This is borderline is terms of what is acceptable to let your kids watch or not. Recommendation- I say that you should watch this if you can because it is pretty good. Prediction- Its current season is its last. Reception: positive. Grade: B.

Curb Your Enthusiasm: This show has been rebooted and is back with new episodes. It is on right now on HBO. I don’t know the timeslot and don’t know if I can watch it. Hopefully I can get someone to do a guest review for it, but that seems unlikely since that hasn’t happened before with other shows. Of course, if I could borrow a copy that someone that I know has, then I could just watch it on my own. But I don’t think that will happen without doing more research.

Untitled Ted Danson Project: This looks like a remake of The Mayor from not too long ago. In this show, a wealthy businessman becomes LA’s mayor. This is totally not inspired by someone like Trump. This has no release date yet. I’d have to imagine that something could come of this real soon after The Good Place ends. This actually has a longer name now, but I won’t call it by something else until it has a real name instead of being an untitled project.

Anthony E Zuiker: Finally! After all of this time wondering if the creator of one of TV’s longest running franchises is ever going to work again, I see him listed as the producer in a project. He is set to help make something called Spearfinger.

Spearfinger: This has no release date at this time. I think that it will be a movie. It is about a Native American legend regarding a woman with sharp fingers who would like to frighten people. There might need to be more to the plot than that, so we will see for sure what will happen with this project later as more information becomes available.

Carol Mendelsohn: There is a new project in store for this writer as of this update. I’m not sure where it is in terms of happening versus not happening. I will tell you about anything she is a producer of since I want to see something in these updates for her. She has a project in the works called Witchblade. We’ll have to see what happens regarding that. She’s also working on something new called Prism.

Witchblade: This is based off of a comic book. From what I can tell, it is in the magical girls genre, although it might have only one girl whose power comes from an object. I should hopefully have a plot description of it in the future. The release date is unknown at this particular time.

Prism: This looks like a pilot for NBC. Nothing is certain yet about when or if it will air. It has no release date yet. I do hope that something comes of it and we’ll probably find out by May whether or not this will see the light of day. The plot is about investigations of murder told through different perspectives. One would guess that it is a new murder in each new episode. There are talks that this could wind up on Netflix if anything comes of this at all.

Ann Donahue: There’s no new information about this writer. I’m sure that she’ll probably find something, but I’m not sure when. As of this month, there are still no new updates regarding this writer. I hope that she does something. There is nothing new to report.

William Petersen: He hasn’t done much outside of CSI in the world of television or movies, but it looks like he is working on a project called Hurt People. He is a producer of this and not an actor of it. We will find out if he acts in something again.

Hurt People: Not much is known about this at the time. It is listed as a TV movie. It has no release date or trailer. It doesn’t look like it has a plot either. I can only guess what it will be about as a result. I guess we’ll see what, if anything, becomes of this.

David Caruso: This CSI: Miami actor has apparently done nothing in terms of acting for movies on TV since the show ended. Thus, there are no projects of his to keep track of. He must be making a good living from the residual checks from his show.

Gary Sinise: He has a lot of projects in the works. One is called I Still Believe. He’s also in a movie called Good Joe Bell. Another project is No Better Place to Die. That’s a whole lot of projects that he’s doing now. Sources are also saying he’ll appear in the final season of 13 Reasons Why.

I Still Believe: This is a movie about the Christian singer Jeremy Camp. It is set to be released on March 20, 2020. It actually has a trailer that I will talk about. This seems like it could be a better movie than others could be.

Thoughts on trailer: I don’t know the whole story yet about this so I’ll hopefully avoid learning what happens until I see this movie. But it looks good. I like a lot of these people from other projects and am glad that Gary is now in the updates so I can review this movie for this blog. (I might have seen it anyways.) I look forward to seeing it.

Good Joe Bell: This is set to be released in 2020. It doesn’t have a trailer yet or specific release date. It is about a gay teen who commits suicide after struggling for acceptance. That sounds like a dark movie to me. Maybe it can still be good, though.

No Better Place to Die: This movie is about part of a battle during World War II. It has no release date or trailer at the moment. To date, Gary’s role is the only one that is in the movie right now and even his is just rumored.

Anthony LaPaglia: It appears that he will be in a TV miniseries called Halifax: Retribution. I don’t know much else he could be doing as that doesn’t show up right now. Maybe he will do more or maybe not. One can only hope that he does more, but maybe he doesn’t need to.

Halifax: Retribution: This has an unknown release date at this time. There is no plot that I can find right now and I don’t know what network this will air on. It might not even air in the US at all. There have been other Halifax stories, apparently.

Laurence Fishburne: He has a recurring role in Black-ish. But that’s not worthy of its own section in this blog as it is not a starring role. He is in Running with the Devil. He’s also in a movie called Brother’s Keeper. He’ll also be in a TV movie called Rendlesham. Another thing he will be in is Crimson Blues. A lot more could come all at once.

Running with the Devil: This movie is set to be on DVD on January 14, 2020. I’ll talk about its trailer and if I am able to see the movie in question at some point in time. Some movies are easier to see than others. It seems to be about people in the drug business working to figure out what is going on with missing shipments. I might like it, but probably won’t. And that’s provided I can even see it.

Thoughts on trailer: This seems incredibly vague about various details of the movie. It does look like it could be exciting in some ways so maybe it will be good. Or maybe I will not be able to make sense of the plot at all. I guess I’ll have to see, maybe.

I’m not going to be able to see the movie right away. If it is in theaters now, I will not be able to see it until it is on DVD. If it is Netflix or some other streaming service, then I might not be able to see it at all. We’ll see what happens with it.

Brother’s Keeper: This doesn’t have a release date yet. It is the true story of a football team from Abilene in 2009. I guess I’ll have to see the movie to find out what happens and hopefully avoid any potential spoilers that I doubt I’ll find out about anyways.

Rendlesham: This has no release date just yet. The plot relates to probably aliens in the 80s in England. I have no idea what network it might air on just yet. Hopefully, I will find out more about this in the future. We’ll see if this really is aliens or is something else entirely.

Crimson Blues: This has no release date yet. It seems to be about a police officer who is looking for redemption after failing in a bad case year prior or something like that. I would say that this could be good if done right.

Adam Rodriguez: He will be in the final season of Criminal Minds. He’ll also be in a show called Penny Dreadful: City of Angels. That’s all I can find for him right now. We’ll see what all he might do in the future.

Criminal Minds: There’s not much to say about this show. I will include my review of it that you may have already seen in my TV blog. Other than that, it is going to end and I don’t see much that we’ll be missing because of it.

Criminal Minds: Status- Currently on CBS at 9/8 Central on Wednesdays. Why I’ve seen it- It was during summer reruns (I think) that I first saw this. I was interested in seeing it at least once. Noteworthiness- The first main character left over creative differences on this show and the thought that it was too dark. Description- A law enforcement agency solves crimes. Notable People- Adam Rodriguez, from CSI: Miami, is in this. Pros- It is similar to other dramas so you know what to expect. Cons- It is too dark. One wonders how it can be allowed on network television. Note to Parents- This show is quite gruesome and graphic with its violence and crime. Don’t let people under the age of 13 watch this. Recommendation- I don’t like it and don’t recommend it. My Viewing Habits- I only watched this once and have no interest in ever seeing it again. Prediction- It will be airing its final season. Reception: negative. Grade: F.

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels: I don’t know much about it other than that it might be on Showtime. One release date says this will be in 2019, but that would mean it’s already out. I think that it will come out later. This is a supernatural show about the occult.

Former projects: In this section, I will keep track of shows that people in this blog used to be mentioned in as doing in some way. I might keep track of other things too. This will be used to keep track of what shows might still be on even after someone has left it in some way. Dancing with the Stars is one of these shows. At the moment, that’s it.

Dancing with the Stars- This is currently on hiatus. James will be on this season so I will be watching it at least once to see what it’s like. This is a reality competition show where professional dancers team up with celebrities of sorts.

Review: Status- Currently on hiatus. Why I’ve seen it- I watched it since James Van Der Beek was in a season of it. Description- Celebrities team up with professional dancers to compete on a live show. Notable People- Tom Bergeron, former host of America’s Funniest Home Videos, is one of the co-hosts of this show. Carrie Ann Inaba, who is currently on The Talk, is a judge on the show. Pros- It can be better and more interesting than one might think, giving its genre. Cons- Too much time is wasted on this show due to set up to dances and other competitions. Note to Parents- Outside of sometimes inappropriate outfits, there might not be too much bad in the show, although you’d have to watch for yourself. Recommendation- This isn’t too bad, but isn’t outstanding either. The main reason why one wouldn’t want to watch it would be time commitment to other things. Prediction- This will probably keep lasting. Reception: good. Grade: B-.
